Board of Supervisors

Supervisors are sworn local public officials under state law, serving staggered four-year terms.  Supervisors must be full-time residents of the Piney-Z neighborhood.  Supervisors are elected every two years in a primary or general election managed by the Leon County Supervisor of Elections.  If a Supervisor resigns or becomes ineligible (e.g., due to moving out of Piney-Z), the remaining supervisors may appoint a new Supervisor to complete the term of office.  The Supervisors elect the Chair and Vice-Chair at the annual organizational meeting or when a new member is elected or appointed.
