The Piney-Z CDD Board of Supervisors is committed to accessibility in compliance with Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

The Piney-Z CDD works to maintain a website that is both accessible to all visitors and compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (Technical Standard—WCAG 2.1 Level AA), as established by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). Please note that accessibility and usability are not always possible in every area of the website, or for visitors using assistive technologies and devices. We conduct accessibility reviews of our website and remediate issues uncovered by these audits. Please be aware that our efforts are ongoing.

The ADA requires that state and local governments must provide individuals with disabilities with effective communication, reasonable modifications, and an equal opportunity to participate in or benefit from their services, programs, and activities. So even when web content or content in mobile apps does not have to meet WCAG 2.1, Level AA, a state or local government would likely still need to provide the content to a person with a disability who needs it in a format that is accessible to them.
